New Pictures of Mia

Mia is becoming more interactive, cooing, and smiling(although it's hard to catch with a camera)! She loves to lay on her play mat and talk to all her toys...However, her BFF is any ceiling fan! She is in awe of fans anytime she scopes one out. She can stare at one for hours :)

Wonderful news! Mia slept 6.5 hours the other night in her crib! This is BIG news in the Elliott household...and yes I did get up at one point in time and check to make sure she was still breathing...neurotic, I know! :)

We have had very nice weather this last week (60's-70's), and have been taking Ivy and Mia for a walk every afternoon. We introduced Mia to geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing), while on our walks. For those of you that don't know what geocaching is, it is like an adult treasure hunt for containers(caches) full of goodies with a GPS unit. Anyone can hide a "cache" and then log the coordinates on the Internet. You then enter the coordinates into your GPS and go find the cache. You are supposed to take something from a cache and leave a trinket/souvenir of your own and sign the cache Log. Lou first discovered geocaching when he was doing his internship at the Athens Health Department. We hid three caches in Athens when we lived there and recently we discovered that there are quite a few caches hidden in our neighborhood. We have found 4 in the last week or so. We are also going to hide some new caches of our own for others to find.
