Ivy has never been a "barker" but since we brought Mia home she has started to bark! If she is out in the yard and someone walks by the fence Ivy now barks to protect her baby sister. It is rather cute! She is quite the little protector now.
Ivy gets a little bit concerned when Mia is crying and is quick to come and get us and let us know that Mia is up and needs something. She loves to lay in the nursery when I am nursing Mia and just enjoys being close to Mia.
Mia is very lucky to have such a nice big sister to grow up with. Lou and I can't wait until Mia is old enough to interact with Ivy, start pulling her tail and trying to ride her like a horse! Mia's friend Isabella is already teaching her all the tricks that she can do with Ivy!
When she isn't "protecting" the family she still enjoys lounging around the house :)
