All little girls need a little SPARKLE in their lives!

For those of you that do not know, Miss Mia ran out of growing room while I was pregnant, so when she was born both of her little feet were turned in a little bit. Not club feet, but they both pointed in towards each other because she didn't have enough room to stretch them out.

We meet with a pediatric orthopedic physician's assistant a few days after she was born and Eric told us that just some stretching of Mia's feet would turn them the correct way.

We had our follow up appointment today and the right foot has definitely made some progress...Mia can hold it in the correct position, but the left foot still is turned in. Lou and I thought that the foot might need casted, Eric thought her foot looked fine and if we continiued to stretch it everything would be ok. However, Eric looked at me and said "I can tell you are really nervous about this." With a big smile on his face....so he made Mia a nice purple, glittery splint!! :)

She can wear it a couple hours a day to help hold her foot in the correct position. So with the splint and some stretching her foot should be good to go in no time! We go back in a month to reevaluate!

So needless to say her purple glittery splint might just be the cutest thing ever! And of course I had to include a picture!
