The Beginning of the End

This weekend I turned 29! Yes, 29! When I think about the number 29 I remember thinking that was SO old...now I think oh well, what is one more year. I actually don't FEEL 29...I feel more like 25, which I guess is a good thing, since the young at heart tend to live longer.

Since I am entering the last year of my 20's I thought I would share with you some of the crazy things I have done in the last decade! I must admit, I have LOVED my 20's and hope that next year I will love my 30's just as much.

So in the last nine years, I have graduated college, moved to Nevada, got my first nursing job, gone back to college, moved to Denver, got married and done lots of fun and crazy things in between those big accomplishments! I have met many new people and made some amazing friends along the way!

Lou planned a nice birthday for me, we went to the Rockies baseball game and he surprised me by inviting our friends Laura and Michael! Then we quickly went home, changed clothes and headed to the Boulder Dinner Theatre for a production of Peter Pan, which I thought was really good for a community theater. He did a great job, planning my special day and making it a birthday to remember!

Graduation from Hocking College with my LPN

Graduation with my RN

Dinner with Friends and Co-Workers (probably after a hard day at work!) from Reno, NV

Our traditional OU homecoming....the biggest one we have had yet!

Our first Fourth of July in Colorado...my sister and Mom came to help us celebrate!!

One of my favorite Wedding pictures :)

Our new house in Colorado

I could have posted THOUSANDS of pictures of all the great times in the last 9 years, but I figured I didn't want to embarrass myself and honestly I don't have the time!! :) However, here is to the last year of my 20's...I hope it will be just as good if not better than the last 9.

  1. Oh, Happy Birthday, Kate! I'm so glad our paths have crossed. The "30's" only get better!
