And no picture session is complete without a few funny/mad faces!
This Summer we also had a visit from Aunt Ninny and apparently I forgot to take any pictures, oops! We took the kids up to the pool for about 30 minutes before they decided they were done and cold! We also made some 4th of July paintings which was Eli's first time getting to play with paint.
I borrowed someone in the neighborhoods, HUGE blow up water slide and invited some of Mia's friends over to enjoy a day in the water. I figured since she never really got a birthday party we would have a water play date! The kids LOVED the slide, but the water was a little cold. That didn't stop them from playing for hours in the water. I am pretty sure I looked over at one point and Eli was purple and had chattering teeth!!
There is no other way to watch a movie than in your own laundry basket with your milk and graham crackers! Anne, can you see that puppy is in Eli's basket with him!!??!!
Eli has found a new favorite place to sit! In the bottom cabinet in the kitchen, I caught him in there with his magna doodle!!
I know this was a very brief post, but it gives you a little idea of what we have been up to this Summer. We are getting ready to have family in town for about the next 3 weeks, so I am sure there will be lots of posts to follow!
Papa Jeff and Grandma are very excited to be coming tomorrow! We are going to play in the sand, water, and possibly go to the zoo with Eli and Mia.....no mom and dad! Papa Jeff is staying a week, but Grandma sneaked in an extra week.....yeah! See you with a special suitcase of fun stuff!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteNinny had such a good time visiting. Miss you all and I am so happy Eli loves his puppy.
