First Family Vacation

We finally decided it was time for our FIRST family vacation going somewhere other than Ohio! We had enough Southwest points to load everyone up and fly to Florida for 6 days. We picked the week of Mother's Day and my Birthday. Lou and I started the trip with a nice Bloody Mary and the bonus was the plane wasn't even half full so we each took one kid and had a row to ourselves.  We decided to just let Eli ride on our lap and it would have been nice if Southwest would have told us the plane wasn't full because we would have carried on his car seat as well, but oh well. The kids took turns riding in the car seat and getting up to stretch and roam around since the plane was practically empty.

Happy Mother's Day to ME!

We spent the week playing in the pool and the ocean and the kids definitely preferred the pool! Mia was so excited because she was able to swim all by herself with her floaty on and all she wanted to do was be in the pool.  Eli liked to swim as well, but he was content to sit and watch the boats out the condo window.

We tried to have a nice photo shoot but the humidity killed my camera lens and Eli was not that interested. Yes Mom that is a BOW in Mia's Hair :)

The kids had a great time as did Lou and I, but I think the two of us are ready for an Adult only relaxing vacation where we don't constantly have to be in the water with the kids.  We are hoping to make this a yearly vacation and we know the older they get the more fun it will be and more relaxing for us!

Swimming and Playing in the Sun is HARD work!
Our trip home also started off with a drink on the plane for us and eventually two sleeping kids! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
