First Haircuts

I have been told by SEVERAL people lately that Eli needed a haircut!! I was against the idea because I am sentimental about my little nuggets hair. In my opinion that is the only thing "baby" left about them, hence why Mia has never had a haircut.  Then grandpa told me that if I didn't cut Eli's hair he would buzz it when we were home in October!! So I figured I better do something about this issue.  My friend Emily at work gave me a pep talk Saturday night and told me it was ok if I was sad about it, but it was going to have to happen sooner or later!

So, Sunday afternoon we packed the kids up and headed to a kids salon planning to only have Eli's haircut, but of course Mia wanted in on the action.  Two haircuts later and both of my kids had their FIRST haircut! And boy does Eli look different! He looks like a big boy and no longer a baby....my fear came true.  The longer Lou and I looked at Eli the more his cute little haircut grew on us.

I now have their sweet baby hair in an envelope to put in their baby books.  First haircut milestone.......check!
