Yes, you read correctly; Eli is almost 20 pounds! Our sweet baby boy is getting big! I am pretty sure my jaw dropped when I put Eli on the scale at the doctors office.  Lou and I were guessing that we was 15 pounds, not 19! Eli is just a big bundle of love! He still loves to cuddle and be held.  He likes to sit on your knee, bounce and look around.  The poor boy wants to move, and he can roll over now and almost immediately will roll onto his belly once you put him on the floor.

Eli is close to being able to sit up on his own. I can sit him for a few seconds and then he will topple over and chuckle about it!  He has been becoming more and more interested in toys; Eli will pick them up, transfer them from hand to hand to examine them and then they always end up in his mouth.

Mr. Eli is infatuated with his sister.  He watches her all day long and just recently I have noticed that Mia is more interested in Eli.  She will give him toys to play with, tickle him and love on him when he is upset (which is hardly ever!).  Mia will wake up in the morning and ask for the "baby" and always wants to run into his room to see him.  We have started to feed Eli fruits and vegetables and Mia has to be on my lap helping feed him and wiping his face.  Of course Eli loves it! He loves to look at Mia and any attention that she will give him.

We started solids with Eli a little bit later than we did with Mia because he just wasn't that interested yet, but holy cow is he a good eater now! You can't get the spoon in his mouth fast enough! He loves his fruit and veggies! He also has started to eat mum-mum's, he can hold them in his hand and suck on them without any help.

Eli is wearing 6-9 month clothes, size 3 diapers and goes to bed between 6:00-7:00 and sleeps until 6:00-7:00 with one nighttime feed between 2:00-4:00.  Eli use to be our binky baby, but he has decided he is going to be like his sister and chew on a lovey/blanket instead of sucking on the binky!
