Over the hump, Eli is 7 months

It's official, we are on the downward spiral of Eli's first year. As sad as I am to say that, I am also excited! Lou and I always really enjoyed this age with Mia. Eli still has the sweetest, happiest personality. He is excited to see us no matter what! Eli still LOVES his big sister and in the last month they will actually play with each other. Mia has become more interested in Eli everyday. She loves to play with him on the floor and her favorite thing is to give him tickles!

Eli is becoming somewhat mobile, he will pivot on the floor on his belly and occasionally he tries to get his knees up under him, but hasn't quite figured it out yet.  He definitely wants to move! He is constantly bouncing and wiggling around.  He has also become quite the little pincher. He pinches everything, your face, nose anything he can get his little hands on.  He will also yank your hair, earrings and necklace.

Lately Eli has been learning how to feed herself, he will pick up little puffs from his chair tray and put them in his mouth. We clap and cheer every time he gets one in his mouth and he gets so excited however for about every one that he gets in his mouth, five end up on the floor, Lucky Ivy! Eli is also working on using his sippy cup.  He is doing a pretty good job on holding it and he can get it to his mouth, but needs a little bit of help tipping it back to actually get the water.

Now that the Denver weather has stop snowing and warmed up, Eli and Mia have been enjoying outside time.  Eli likes to go to the park and be pushed in the swing and he enjoys sitting outside on the back porch in his exercauser!

*Not sure why the pictures won't download completely, but at least you can see his happy smile!*
