The things a girl will do for a candy heart!

Mia has been showing interest in the potty for awhile now. I bought her a little potty and would occasionally sit her on it, but would have no results. Then we got to the point where Mia would take her diaper off every time she peed in it because she didn't like being wet. I figured we better get serious about the potty!

I waited until my mom was here for a week to help me. It is difficult for me to run Mia to the potty if I am nursing Eli so two people I thought would be helpful!

My mom flew in the week of March 9th because Lou had to go to San Francisco for work. We put Mia in undies and went to work. It took her a few days with some accidents, but finally she realized if she went to the potty she would get a candy heart!! Oh my does Mia love candy hearts! Poor girl would sit on the potty and make herself pee just to get a heart! After a few days she wouldn't ask for a treat so she didn't get one, just the clapping and high fives were enough for her!

Mia is so proud of herself every time she uses the potty; she runs out and tells everyone she did it!

I guess this officially means she isn't a baby anymore! My mom told me she was still a baby until she wasn't in diapers anymore... Bye bye diapers, hello big girl!
