We are leaving on a jet plane!

We made it!! We took our first big trip with Mia! Not only was it our first big trip with her, but it was her first time on an airplane!  So after I packed up half the house, we were on our way to Ohio.

Mia did pretty well on the airplane, she cried for maybe 10 minutes on the descent but otherwise she was a very well behaved baby.  Once we got to Ohio it was nonstop visiting....Mia was very lucky and was able to meet all 5 of her Great-Grandparents and I am pretty sure they were all tickled to meet her.

We stayed at Grandpa Parfitt's house, he bought her a pack in play so it was one less thing we had to pack on the plane.  We were able to introduce Mia to her Aunt Jill and Uncle Mark and I was able to rub our little cousin in the oven! Who I have secretly named Sophia! :)

We swam and played all day Saturday! It was such nice weather! Mid-80's and sunny and not too much humidity! Check out little Miss Diva in her ladybug swimsuit and hat!

Sunday morning we woke up and headed over to Cassie and Matt's house.  I have been dying to meet Miss Spencer and she was just as cute as I thought she would be!  Mia was rather tired and cried pretty much the whole time we were there.  It was actually rather funny because the girls were feeding off one another, one would cry then the other would start and it would just get louder and louder! Big Brother Emmett showed us all his new trucks he got for his birthday and informed us that "Daddy poops!!" You have got to love the things kids say!! :)

We were also in town for Amanda's baby shower, we helped host it at the Community Center on Sunday.  Amanda was blessed with some nice gifts and was able to visit with family and friends.  Mia made a new little friend, Stella! Hopefully they will be able to see each other again sometime soon.

We will be heading back to Ohio in October for OU homecoming, which I can't wait for! We will have quite a bit more time to relax and visit since we will be staying longer.  Plus the three of us are going to rent a cabin in the Hocking Hills for a little mini vacation!! :)
