It is hard for me to believe that Miss Mia is 7 months old...as Lou put it the other day, "She is on the downhill of the first year!" Time definitely flies!  Both of us have decided that this has been our favorite time so far.  Of course she was cute and cuddly when she was little, but now she has quite the personality and interacts with us.

Mia has been getting up on all fours and rocking for a couple of weeks now and I am waiting for the day when I look down and she is gone.  I think any day now she will figure it out and will be mobile! Mia tends to get very frustrated when she can't figure something out.  She will yell and scream when she is on her knees because she can't figure out how to move forward.  She has mastered the reverse but not the forward :)

As you can see in the picture above, she is very curious and full of energy.  She would rather be picking weeds than sitting still and smiling for the camera! She is interested in everything that Lou and I are doing.  She also has become quite the little pincher.  She pinches everything, your face, nose anything she can get her little hands on.  She will also yank your hair, earrings and necklace.
She still chatters all the time and tends to say ma-ma and occasionally will throw a da-da out there.  Not sure that she is really saying ma-ma but I like to think she is!! :)

Lately Mia has been learning how to feed herself, she will pick up little puffs from her highchair tray and put them in her mouth. We clap and cheer every time she gets one in her mouth and she gets so excited however for about every one that she gets in her mouth, five end up on the floor, Lucky Ivy! She is also working on using her sippy cup. She LOVES to hold it and drink out of it but she needs a little help tipping it back to get the water.

Mia has always loved to be outside, lately we have been taking little bike rides through the neighborhood.  Mia usually is asleep in her trailer before we even get to the end of our road.  If she is awake, we take her to the park to swing.  She holds on to the swing with white knuckles but enjoys the fresh air!
