While we were in Ohio Mia was forced to nap in her pack in play and not her swing since we didn't have a swing to put her in. For those of you that don't already know, Mia has had a hard time napping in her crib here and usually would only nap in her swing! So she had a bit of a rough time napping while in Ohio, but by the end of the weekend she was doing pretty well. I told Lou when we got back we should continue to let her nap in her crib only and "break" her of the swing. So everyday since we have returned to Colorado I have been putting her in her crib to nap and guess what??? NO CRYING!! She lays down and goes right to sleep!!! I was not thinking it would be that easy!
Therefore I am going to pack up the swing and put it in the basement. Bye, Bye sanity! That swing was our saving grace! At times it was the only way I got to shower, eat or accomplish anything around the house. It was also the only way our little monkey would nap, meaning the only way we would be able to nap! There have been SEVERAL nights where Lou or I would be sleeping on the couch and Mia would be sleeping in the swing just so we could all get a few hours of shut eye.
Oh our little angel is getting so big! I think I am going to cry!!! Miss you guys so much!!

It was so good to see all of the great grandparents. Wish I could have been there for the 4 generation picture. I am sad the swing is being put away. She loved that swing, and I know how much the music and tweeting bird soothed her.
