Summer Guest Number 2, Poppy Parfitt!

We were lucky enought to have my Dad fly in the same evening that Aunt Amanda and Callie left, unfortuntaely it was the same day that Miss Mia got her four month shots, so she was feeling a little rough.  It was nice to have my Dad around to help hold and snugggle her while she didn't feel well.

We spent the majority of our time enjoying the nice Denver weather in the backyard! It was sunny and in the 80s during his whole visit, so we soaked up some sun and hung around the house with Mia.  We ventured out to the pool one afternoon and Mia LOVED it.  I put her in her raft and she kicked around for about 30 minutes and then she was done.  I try to get her to the pool as much as possible so she never becomes scared of the water.

Miss Mia has outgrown her boot so we went to the ortho and got her a new "boot" made, this time it is blue! Her foot is doing so much better, at times she will hold her foot in the correct position, but I have noticed when she is sleepy she tends to let it drift inward.  Eric is not concerned about it, he thinks she is making great progress and keeps telling us that much won't happen until she is weight bearing on her foot.
