A Word from Mia

My Mom and Dad just did their nightly ritual and put me down to sleep.  I decided to trick them and fake like I was asleep so they would leave and I could jump out of my crib and come out to the loft and update all my fans.  I have decided that Twitter is just too much for me to deal with right now, so this blog will have to suffice...

I have been really busy lately.  My Old Lady (Mom) just turned the big 3-0, geesh, that is ancient to me.  I figured it out and she is 120 times older than I am in months(360-3)! 

Mothers day was a couple of weekends ago and I talked to my Dad about taking out a loan for a mothers day gift.  He obliged, thanks to a couple of smiles and a bat or two of my baby blues ;)  I told him that I was sick of riding around in Mom's car listening to commercials and the same old songs on the radio.  I told him I wanted to get her satellite radio so I could have some fun while listening in my car seat.  Needless to say, he caved and now I can get down in the back of the Jeep! 

Next up, was out trip to a Bed and Breakfast for Mom's big B-day.  Again I had to pester my Dad for some cold hard cash to buy some loot for my mom.  I decided to get her a mani/pedicure so her toes were looking good for the warm weather and her fingers would be pretty while she is loving up on me and changing diapers;)  My dad had the trip to the B-n-B planned out and little did he know, I had plans of my own.  I got to take my first bath with Dad since we didn't have a kiddie bathtub with us.  Dad let me slide around on his legs while Momma washed me.  It was really fun. After the bath I went to sleep and I was a perfect angel until about 10pm. At 10 I threw a fit and demanded to be nursed all night long by Mom and didn't let the parents sleep until 4am!!!! Happy Birthday Mom! ;)

My Dad has also been pretty busy lately.  He got a great promotion at work and is really excited.  I am glad that he is happy and working normal hours (during the day), instead of his normal werewolf hours on the midnight shift.  His new hours also allow Mom to work day shift on her office days and only work night shift if she has to work on the weekends.  They both love coming home to see me and it seems like everyone really enjoys working during the days instead of nights.  This is nice because I am a early bird!

I have been pretty squeaky lately.  I cannot talk but I can squeak and squeal with the best of them!  I am still working my folks over with my smiles and coos and they just gush and give me lots of encouragement.  These folks are crazy about me, which is OK, because I love them just as much.  Sorry it took so long for me to update on here.  I normally get too sleepy and just pass out when they put me to bed.  I hope you guys are all doing well and I cannot wait to meet my Dad's sisters when they come out in June.  Also, my Poppi is coming in June, and I love seeing him.  Peace for now my little homeys!
