Back to Work

Last night was my first night back to work and yes I cried all the way to work! Then when I got to work my friend Angie gave me a big hug and said it was nice to have me back and that just sent me into a sobbing fit! :) So I sobbed on Angie's shoulder for a couple of seconds, then pulled myself together and did pretty good for the rest of the night!

All the girls at work were great, they brought me chocolate and Diet Coke! How can you have a bad night with those two items! They oohed and aahed over Mia's pictures and were a great support to me knowing that was the last place I wanted to be!

Lou was great with Mia, he texted me that they were headed to bed around 8:40 and you wouldn't believe it but Mia slept 7, YES 7 hours straight for her Poppa! So now I am convinced she is a Daddy's girl...or might I even think that this will be her new norm?? I hate to say it this early and jinks us! Everyone did tell me that around 3 months they all of a sudden start to sleep much better and definitely start to know their routine a little bit better, so I pray that she is taking a turn for the better with her sleeping habits! Tonight will be the test....will she sleep 7 hours for her Momma or be up every 3??

Tomorrow is my first office day and will be Mia's first evening with Miss Kelsey...hopefully Lou can get her to bed before he leaves for work and she will sleep the whole time Kelsey is here!

So as much as I dreaded going back to work and as much as I would rather be here with my adorable Mia, it was nice to use my brain for something other than figuring out how many hours it has been since Mia ate last!
