A Word From Mia

Hello to all of my groupies! I just wanted to let all of you know that my parents are so infatuated with me and my pretty little face. My Mom is amazing and is always sweeping me up, loving on me, and feeding me the goods. Dad tries to do his part when it comes to food, but his bottles just aren't the same. I am pretty sure my Mom should be on the professional diaper changing circuit, she is so fast. My Dad... Well lets just say it was hilarious at first when I would leave him a treasure. He was slow and clumsy, but he really tried. Just to make it more interesting, I used to find the gaping holes he would leave around my legs and prove just how leaky an ill-fitting diaper can be!!! Poor guy! He is much better now, but Mom is still the MVP!!
My big sister, Ivy, is still not quite sure of what to make of me, so she normally just wags her tail like crazy and sniffs me alot. I am getting used to sleeping outside of my Mom's belly, and I REALLY love sleeping on my Dad when he gets home from work. I can easily knock down 4 hrs of sleep on good ol' Dad's chest. Dad likes to feed me bottle-juice until my eyes roll back in my head and I pass out.
I don't know why my Mom and Dad laugh so hard sometimes... They laugh and say I burp like a trucker, whatever that is... Geesh, do they not understand how gassy us little ones are? While we are on the subject, I want to show off this little piece my Grandpa and Nanny Elliott sent me. Notice the magazine rack? I am excited about finding some good reading material when the time comes to do some training ;)

My Poppy Parfitt and Aunt Anne are coming to visit me tomorrow and I can hardly wait. I know my Aunt is barely able to contain herself. My Poppy has no idea how easy it will be for me to make him melt. I know my Dad is already wrapped around my little fingers and I expect to make easy work of my Poppy as well. I better finish this post up, so stay tuned to find out more about how Mom and Dad adjust to their new jobs as parents and more stories from Me.

Ciao,
Mia
