We were blessed to have the WHOLE Delaney family come and visit us for five days! This was the first time that Uncle Chris and Cousins Ivy and Hayden were able to meet Miss Mia, and I know that Mia loved having them! She was able to be held by everyone!! There was always someone with open arms just willing to scoop her up and give her some love!
We had a busy week, we went to WaterWorld, one of the largest water parks in the US. The kids went on several water slides while Mia and I hung out in the pool and resting in the shade! It was a very HOT afternoon and we were all tired by the end of the day.
The next day we decided to stay out of the sun and headed to the Aquarium. Hayden and Ivy checked out all the fish, snakes and the tiger and Mia enjoyed the fishies as well.
Since we had such nice weather the whole time they were here we went to the neighborhood pool and swam on Tuesday. Mia is becoming quite the little fish. She kicks and squeals the whole time she is in the pool. Ivy and Hayden were great helps, they would hold her and play with her in the pool!
Then as an early birthday surprise, Anne and I took Miss Ivy to Canvas and Cocktails and we all painted! Ivy is a very artistic girl and Lou and i thought she might enjoy painting for her birthday so we treated her to a little "girls only" time!! And of course her painting blew Anne and Mine out of the water!
Once again we all had a wonderful time and were so lucky to have you open your home to the 4 of us! We love you guys!
