Anyway the doctor tested me for Group B Strep which is a bacteria that some pregnant women will contract while pregnant. So we will know the results next week...if it is positive it just means that I will need some IV antibiotics during labor so the baby doesn't contract the bacteria during delivery.
The baby's heartbeat was 150 today which is good and strong and is measuring correctly and remains head down. The only new update is I now need to start taking some iron supplements to help with a little bit of anemia!
Today was an extra special day because after getting to listen to my baby's heartbeat I got to go to my second baby shower!! Whitney and Stephanie (two girls I work with) threw me and Heather a baby shower today!! Heather and I are the last two pregnant girls on night shift out of a whopping 13 pregnant girls on my unit! Heather is 27 weeks and due in April with a little girl...her second baby.
We had a nice Italian potluck, socialized and Lou and I were blessed with some nice gifts!
Yummy Italian Potluck!
Rattle Cupcakes that Nicole Made...so impressive!

And here you go Cass the 35 week belly bump picture!!

And last but not least....playdoh babies! :)
So overall I must say Lou and I have had a busy home improvement weekend and it was finished off with a great baby shower with my great co-workers! What more could you ask for??? We even received about 7 inches of snow and it has stopped snowing in time for me to go back to work Tuesday night and not have to drive it!! YES!! It must really be my weekend! :) Hope everyone else had a nice and relaxing weekend
Oh Kate, I so miss seeing you....love the photos of everything, and the shower is just so nice. I am so happy you have such generous and loving co-workers. Miss you and Lou so very much. Love the big baby bump!! Hugs and kisses, Mom
