Christmas in November???

Unfortunately it has been snowing off and on all week! YUCK!! I was not ready for snow however Louis informed me that I am never ready for the snow and he is right! Yes babe I admitted online in front of everyone that YOU ARE RIGHT!! :)




Since it is in the 30's, snowing and we are headed to Ohio in two weeks, I decided to wrap Christmas gifts today. Yes you read it right, I was wrapping Christmas gifts in November!!

I did the majority of our Christmas shopping early this year because I was not sure how I would be feeling in December and since we are headed to Ohio in two weeks, I thought it would be easier and cheaper to just bring all the gifts home with us instead of shipping them this year.

While Lou was sleeping I turned on some Christmas music, had my Christmas Tree oil burning and Ivy and I wrapped gifts! I LOVE Christmas and I have been wanting to listen to Christmas music, but for those of you that don't know my husband well....he is a SCROOGE!! He hates Christmas music, Christmas trees and pretty much anything to do with the holiday! He is one of those people that thinks Christmas is too commercialized blah, blah, blah! Needless to say that is why I did my Holiday Celebration while he was sleeping :)


All our gifts, wrapped and waiting to head to Ohio! Yes I tend to have a "theme" with my wrapping paper every year and Lou actually picked out the Blue and Silver at the Target after Christmas sell last year!!

I have a few more gifts to get while we are in Athens, I try to do some shopping locally to help out our small town! But I am pretty much done! It is nice to be done shopping and gifts wrapped. So the whole month of December I can listen to my Christmas music, sit by the fire and maybe just maybe enjoy the snow. Only thing that would make it better would be a nice BIG glass of red wine!! :)
