Changes

We made a few changes around here in the last week or so....first of all we sold my beloved Touareg!! :( So sad! Financially it was just getting to be too expensive to maintain....it needed new tires, brake sensors etc and it was going to cost us well over 1500 dollars to fix. So we decided to trade it in and we made some money off of the deal....we bought a used 2004 Infiniti I35. It hopefully will be more fuel efficient and it is definitely a very comfortable car. It has been a LONG time since either of us has had a car and I must admit it is nice!

So as sad as I was to see my baby go, it was nice to add some money to our savings and have a nice comfortable car to ride around in! Lou is driving the new car and I have taken over the Jeep which I enjoy driving, but I miss my heated seats!

Also, we are almost done with the nursery...we have it painted, but since our walls are textured we had a hard time making a straight line between the wall and ceiling, so our fix...crown molding!! This weekend we will be putting up the crown molding to finish off the nursery. When completely finished I will be sure to post pictures!

The last change around here, is I started my new position this week. For those of you that do not already know, I accepted one of the CNC (clinical nurse coordinator) positions. It is still in the same NICU and what it entails is that I will be one of four assistant managers of our unit, I will have management days one or twice a week where I will do paperwork and other "desk" work. On my other days I will still work as a staff nurse in the unit doing patient care. I am really excited to get it rolling and see how everything turns out...hoping that I will LOVE it!!
