In the last couple of months Eli has started to become more independent. He likes to do things by himself, such as; buttering pancakes, pouring milk and anything else he sees Mia doing. Eli's vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds and everyday he surprises me with a new word. He is starting to string 3 words together such as, " I get it" and "Um Um good." Eli is our little broken record, he will continuously repeat what he is saying until you acknowledge that you hear him.
Eli started to attend Ms. Kristin's in-home preschool one day a week and he loves it there just as much as Mia does. When I drop the kids off Eli runs straight to the playroom to play trains with Everett and Tyler. Eli talks about his little friends from school and yells, "yay!" when I tell him it is a school day!
Eli is very interested in anything with wheels! He loves trains, planes, motorcycles, cars, trucks and anything he can push. He LOVES to talk about boogers, poop and usually announces to the room when he toots! He is very much a boy! He jumps, climbs, wrestles with Mia and enjoys being outside on his trike and Stridor. He went through a pinching and biting phase, but he seems to do that less and less each day. He does enjoy aggravating Mia! Eli has started to become interested in the potty and LOVES to wear his Mickey Mouse underwear; somedays he will even go pee in the potty!
Some of Eli's favorites right now are: trains, his puppy, books, his bike, being outside, warm milk, the sandbox, water table, putting on his shoes and one of his favorite toys is still a cup!
Eli cracked his front left two tooth right before his birthday. He fell in the bathroom and busted his teeth. We were so sad! We took him to the dentist and there is not much we can do about it since they are his baby teeth; luckily he didn't kill the nerve so they won't turn black.
Eli is not much of a TV watcher, but when he does he enjoys watching; Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Blues Clues and Chuggington
Eli wears a size 7 shoe, size 18-24 month pants, size 24 month shirts, size 5 diapers, weighs 27 lbs 4 Ozs and is
35 inches tall.

And he is my favorite two year old!! Papa Jeff and I loved having him and Mia visit this month. We miss him and Mia so much. Everytime Papa does "dog duty" outside, we miss Eli as our "scout." When I see a truck or his bike I get very sad that he isn't here to use these favorite toys. We will always love his beautiful smile and happy attitude. xoxo Grandma
