2012 in Review

Another year has come and gone! Time certainly begins to fly the older you get. Here is a summary of our 2012...

Mia

Wow has Mia grown! She is getting taller and her hair is growing like crazy! She talks nonstop and it seems as though she learns a new word everyday if not five new words! She is full of energy and loves to be chased and tickled. She will tell you "I'm gonna get you!" She has become a huge helper. She likes to put shoes away, help with the laundry, help empty the dishwasher and loves to help with Eli. She will help wipe and change his diaper and is very interested to watch during bath time. She now carries baby dolls around with her and changes their diapers.

Eli

Our newest addition and I would have to say the best moment of 2012! Eli entered our world a few weeks early surprising everyone. He is most definitely a blessing to our family and is a great baby. I can honestly say that he hardly ever cries! He just hangs out and is happy no matter where he is. He has learned how to sleep through anything including his crazy and loud sister! He now brightens our days with his huge smiles and his occasional chuckle. Eli is a tank! He is a whopping 12 pounds and isn't even 3 months old yet! I am loving every little roll on him. He is overall a very happy little boy.

Louis

Lou remains in loss prevention at UPS. He puts in 60 hours a week and then comes home to wrestle with Mia before bed. Lou recently went to NYC for two weeks during the holiday season to help deliver packages in Brooklyn.

Kate

I have been lucky enough to have the last three months of the year off for maternity leave. I plan on returning to work next weekend and I am absolutely dreading the very thought of it. Right before I went on maternity leave I decided to step down from my CNC management role at work. When I return I will be part time on the weekend plan. That means I will work every Saturday and Sunday night. I had a hard decision to make but in the long run we think this will work best for our family.

Our new family of four is looking forward to an amazing 2013. We have not been home in over a year which is the longest I have ever been away so we are looking forward to a trip home in April and of course we will be returning for homecoming this year! We also hope to be able to take a family trip sometime this year, maybe to the beach so Mia can play in the sand!

We wish everyone a happy and healthy 2013!
