We have had a very busy month so I have been slacking in the blogging department and since it is 30 degrees and snowing today, Mia and I thought it would be a great day to catch up with our blog friends!
We had our first big family vacation! Yes, we took a whole week off and flew to Ohio for OU homecoming! The majority of you know that OU homecoming is pretty much considered a Holiday in my World, so I couldn't wait to spend homecoming with Mia! We all got dolled up in our OU gear and enjoyed a very family friendly OU homecoming parade. All the older kids were excited to get as much candy as possible, and Mia well she was excited for the alumni band! Yes she told me that was her favorite part!
Since when we go home we have so many family and friends to visit and since Lou and I were not able to take a family vacation this year, we decided to rent a cabin in the Hocking Hills for two nights so we could have a little family time. And of course it rained the whole two days we were there, but that didn't stop us from doing a little hiking. We all bundled up and put Mia in the Ergo carrier and we headed to Cedar Falls, the colors were great! Mia enjoyed being outside in the fresh air :)
We were all tired and ready to head home, I came home with a cold and of course Miss Mia got my cold, so we are both sniffling. The good thing is that Mia got to experience her first grape Popsicle and she loved it!
Great pictures...it was such a good time! Love and miss you all already!
